David Parker

David is the Head of our Prison Law Department, the largest and most innovative in England and Wales. He was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2009.

David has more than 20 years experience in Prison Law. Whilst supervising and overseeing the recruitment and training of a dynamic and thriving team, David specialises in the representation of all types of indeterminate sentenced prisoners before the Parole Board of England and Wales.

Having previously held a position upon the Executive Committee of the Association of Prison Lawyers, and being a member of the Howard League for Penal Reform, David is a regular commentator in Prison newspapers and sought out for opinion by various media.

David’s experience includes the representation of many Clients of high profile, attracting intense national media attention.

Cases of note include the representation and acquittal at trial in the largest national Prison disturbance of its kind, major terrorist offending and serious organised crime.
